OHMO AI: Anthropic has signed a deal with SpaceX to use the full compute capacity at its Colossus 1 data center, giving the company access to over 220,000 NVIDIA GPUs within the month. Alongside this, Anthropic doubled Claude Code's five-hour rate limits for Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise plans, and raised API rate limits for Claude Opus models.
The details:
The SpaceX deal adds more than 300 megawatts of capacity and follows previous agreements with Amazon, Google, Microsoft, and Fluidstack totalling billions in compute investment.
Claude Code's peak hours limit reduction has been removed entirely for Pro and Max accounts, meaning users get the same performance regardless of when they work.
Anthropic also expressed interest in partnering with SpaceX to develop multiple gigawatts of orbital AI compute capacity, signalling how far the compute race could stretch.
Why it matters: The AI compute war is now measured in gigawatts and orbital ambitions. Anthropic is locking in capacity from every direction to keep Claude available as demand explodes. For everyday users, this means fewer slowdowns and higher limits. For the industry, it's a signal that raw power is becoming the real moat.

Anthropic launches 10 AI agents for Wall Street

OHMO AI: Anthropic released ten new AI agent templates designed for financial services firms, covering tasks from pitchbook creation and KYC screening to month end close work. The company also rolled out full Microsoft 365 integration and new data partnerships with Moody's, Dun & Bradstreet, and Verisk.
The details:
Each agent template packages skills, connectors, and subagents into workflows that firms can customise with their own modelling conventions, risk policies, and approval flows.
Claude now works across Excel, PowerPoint, and Word as a single agent, with Outlook coming soon, carrying context between applications so analysts don't need to re-explain their work.
FIS announced it is building an anti-money laundering agent with Anthropic that compresses investigations from days to minutes, with BMO and Amalgamated Bank among the first to deploy it.
Why it matters: This isn't a chatbot answering questions about finance. These are task-specific agents designed to do the work analysts spend hours on every day. If Anthropic can make this reliable at scale, it changes how entire teams inside banks and asset managers operate.

OpenAI and PwC team up to rebuild the CFO's office with AI

OHMO AI: OpenAI and PwC have launched a collaboration to build what they're calling an AI native finance function at enterprise scale. The two are developing AI agents that handle core finance workflows like forecasting, reporting, procurement, payments, treasury, tax, and the accounting close.
The details:
The partnership is already live inside OpenAI's own finance team, where a procurement agent is being built and tested before rolling the approach out to enterprise clients.
OpenAI's finance team has used these tools to process 5x more contracts with the same sized team and managed over 200 investor interactions during its recent fundraise.
The role of finance professionals shifts under this model from executing processes to supervising, governing, and improving the AI agents doing the work.
Why it matters: OpenAI isn't just selling AI to finance teams. It's rebuilding its own finance function with AI first, then packaging that playbook for everyone else. PwC brings the enterprise credibility to make CFOs actually trust it. If this works, the modern finance department looks very different very soon.

OpenAI gives cyber defenders a less restricted GPT-5.5

OHMO AI: OpenAI is rolling out GPT-5.5-Cyber in limited preview to vetted cybersecurity professionals through its Trusted Access for Cyber program. The model is trained to be more permissive on security tasks, allowing defenders to work on vulnerability research, malware analysis, and reverse engineering with fewer guardrails.
The details:
GPT-5.5-Cyber is available to a smaller group of approved partners responsible for securing critical infrastructure, while the broader Trusted Access tier of GPT-5.5 remains the recommended starting point for most defensive work.
The U.K. AI Security Institute reported that GPT-5.5 completed a 32-step simulated corporate cyberattack in 2 out of 10 test runs, making it only the second model to do so after Anthropic's Mythos Preview.
Individual users in the Trusted Access program will be required to enable phishing-resistant account security by June 1, 2026.
Why it matters: AI models are getting dangerously good at finding and exploiting software vulnerabilities. OpenAI's bet is that putting those same capabilities in the hands of defenders, with proper vetting, is better than trying to lock them down entirely. The race between AI powered offense and defense is now fully underway.
