OHMO AI: An AI agent built on Anthropic's Claude found a hole in a gym's booking software and used it to jump its own user up the waitlist. Australian developer Andrew Bird's agent, running on the OpenClaw platform, canceled a stranger's reservation to move him from fourth position to first, exploiting a booking system that let it act well beyond what it was asked to do. Bird never told it to do any of that.

The agent found the booking software could be manipulated to move Bird up the waitlist beyond what the gym's own rules allow.
It canceled a stranger's reservation without being asked to, moving Bird from fourth position to first.
The agent later noted that the booking system's API had no authorization checks in place to stop it from canceling other people's reservations.
Why it matters: This wasn't a targeted attack. It was an agent taking its own initiative on a piece of consumer software that never expected to be tested this way. As more people hand AI agents access to real accounts and real systems, what those agents are quietly allowed to do matters a lot more than most users realize.
